Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager required to join a market leading supplier of Industrial Automation products and systems. The successful candidate shall work fully remote, covering areas such as Southampton, Bournemouth, Portsmouth, Brighton and more, responsible for developing new business and managing existing key accounts for Industrial Engineering products and systems such as Sensors, PLCs, HMIs, Robotics, Variable Speed Drives, Switchgear and other electrical / electronic related products.

Role:
- Responsible for developing new business and managing existing key accounts for Industrial Engineering products and systems.
- Provide a consultative sales approach, including technical support, product specifications, and demonstration of all Industrial Engineering related products and components.
- Target OEM customers within industries such as Food & Bev, Automotive, Manufacturing, Electronics, Plant Machinery, Oil & Gas and other Industrial Markets.
- Work remotely, visiting customers across Southampton, Bournemouth, Portsmouth, Brighton and more to ensure customer requirements.
- Liaise with various Engineering departments.
Requirements:
- Experience as a Sales Engineer / Area Sales Manager / Sales Manager / Key Account Manager / Business Development Manager / Internal Sales Engineer / Sales Executive or similar within the Automation industry, or related technical engineering industry.
- Experience selling a technical engineering product related to the electrical / automation industry such as sensors, process machinery, robotics, VSDs, HMIs, PLCs and or similar technical engineering products.
- A technical engineering qualification is advantageous, though not essential.
- Determination, enthusiasm, and motivation to succeed and grow with a reputable supplier of Industrial Automation.
- Willingness to travel across Southampton, Bournemouth, Portsmouth, Brighton and more.
