We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Designer with a strong background in structural packaging design to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing innovative, functional, and sustainable packaging solutions, ideally within corrugated materials, though we are open to candidates with experience in cartonboard or other substrates. Responsibilities
- Designing and developing structural packaging solutions that meet client needs, align with market trends, and reflect our brand's commitment to innovation and sustainability.
- Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and manufacturing, to produce prototypes that align with defined specifications, brand identity, and cost parameters.
- Utilizing CAD software or similar tools to create detailed 3D models and technical drawings for packaging production.
- Conducting material research and testing to ensure designs meet performance, durability, and environmental standards, with a key focus on sustainability.
- Presenting design concepts, prototypes, and final designs to internal teams and clients for feedback and approval.
- Staying abreast of new materials, technologies, market trends, and innovations within the packaging design industry.
- Mentoring junior designers and providing constructive feedback to elevate overall team output.
- Working closely with vendors to ensure accurate production and troubleshooting any issues that arise.
Required:
- Professional experience in structural packaging design, preferably in corrugated, cartonboard, or a similar substrate.
- Advanced proficiency in CAD software (e.g., ArtiosCAD, SolidWorks).
- Strong understanding of packaging materials and their properties, with demonstrated knowledge of production and manufacturing processes.
- A solid portfolio showcasing innovative packaging designs across various substrates.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate ideas and collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams.

Day-to-Day
- Brainstorming and sketching new packaging solutions for a high-profile product launch.
