A growing, partner-led accountancy firm in the North West is looking to appoint an experienced Tax Senior to strengthen its tax team. This role offers a high level of responsibility, advisory exposure, and a clear pathway for continued progression. The firm is independently owned, allowing it to prioritise quality, people, and long-term client relationships over short-term targets.
The Role
You’ll manage your own portfolio of clients, delivering a mix of compliance and advisory services. The role provides strong exposure to planning, restructuring, and value-adding work, making it ideal for someone who wants to develop commercially as well as technically.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a portfolio of personal and/or corporate tax clients
- Reviewing tax returns and computations
- Leading and contributing to advisory and planning work
- Building strong client relationships
- Supporting and mentoring junior team members
About You
- Proven experience in a tax role within practice
- ATT and/or CTA qualified (or equivalent experience)
- Strong technical knowledge with advisory capability
- Commercially minded and client-focused
