The Role
You will represent clients in all aspects of criminal law, from police station advice to advocacy in the Magistrates’ and Crown Courts. This is a varied, hands-on role, ideal for those looking to make a meaningful difference and strengthen their professional profile.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend police stations and provide expert legal advice to clients under investigation
- Prepare and conduct cases in the Magistrates’ Court, with advocacy opportunities
- Manage files from instruction to resolution
- Build and maintain excellent client relationships, ensuring high standards of service
- Collaborate with colleagues to share knowledge and best practice
About You
- Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales) with Duty Solicitor status
- Minimum 2 years’ PQE in criminal law at a UK practice

- Ability to manage a diverse caseload independently
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
