We are hiring for our client for an experienced Pre-Construction Manager (Mechanical) to join a growing and highly regarded construction business delivering leading-edge projects across a range of sectors. This Pre-Construction Manager role offers the opportunity to play a key part in the design, planning and successful delivery of major MEP projects from concept through to handover.

The successful Pre-Construction Manager will work closely with clients, consultants, subcontractors and internal teams to develop innovative, cost-effective and buildable solutions.

The Role

  • Lead pre-construction and design activities for Mechanical projects from concept stage through to delivery
  • Develop designs alongside consultants, subcontractors and project stakeholders
  • Review tender documentation and manage the process through to contract handover
  • Analyse Mechanical drawings and schematics
  • Identify value engineering opportunities and project risks
  • Liaise with contracts teams, suppliers and subcontractors throughout the pre-construction phase
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to support repeat business
  • Ensure solutions are practical, commercially viable and deliverable on site

The Person

  • 3+ years' experience in a Pre-Construction role within construction or MEP projects
  • Strong Mechanical technical knowledge and understanding of construction processes
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Commercially aware with excellent attention to detail
  • Full clean driving licence
  • Positive, proactive and team-oriented approach
