Overview
We are supporting a growing and forward-thinking conveyancing firm that provides high-quality legal and customer services to clients and partner agents. Due to continued expansion across multiple offices in Northampton, Milton Keynes, Bedford, Kettering and St Neots, they are now seeking a motivated Assistant Case Handler to join their conveyancing team. This role offers structured development, ongoing on-the-job training, and clear progression opportunities for those looking to build a long-term career in conveyancing.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with issuing regular updates to clients and introducers
- Issue draft contracts on sales
- Prepare draft financial statements for sale transactions
- Obtain and deal with redemption statements from lenders
- Chase and diarise sale enquiries
- Chase and diarise purchase contracts
- Deal with sale enquiries
- Chase and diarise replies to purchase enquiries
- Assist with exchanges and related administration
- Prepare exchange letters and completion letters
- Check secondary forms for accuracy and completeness
- Set up financial completion packs on sales
- Provide administrative and transactional support to Conveyancers
The Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience within a conveyancing or legal support role
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
- Confident managing deadlines and multiple tasks
