Our client is looking to recruit a Commercial Litigation Solicitor (3+ PQE) to join a growing, award‑winning team in Hale. This role suits someone who enjoys running their own files, delivering excellent client care, and supporting senior colleagues on larger, more complex disputes. You will join a busy team exposed to varied, high‑quality commercial litigation work. The working environment is office‑based to support collaboration, learning, and day‑to‑day support. You will report to the Partner and Head of Commercial Litigation, and you will be motivated to contribute to a well‑run, efficient and organised team.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing your own caseload of commercial litigation matters from instruction to conclusion
- Supporting senior colleagues on larger, complex cases as required
- Advising clients throughout the life of a matter on prospects, strategy, and costs exposure
- Drafting pleadings, witness statements, applications, correspondence and settlement documentation
- Taking a proactive, tenacious approach to progressing matters and achieving the best outcomes for clients
- Maintaining high standards of client care and clear communication
- Working collaboratively with other teams to deliver joined‑up solutions
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships to support long‑term retention
- Working to client service standards and agreed timeframes where applicable
- Managing competing deadlines across multiple matters in a fast‑paced environment
- Maintaining accurate, up‑to‑date file records across ongoing cases
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years PQE as a qualified solicitor, with strong commercial litigation experience
- Strong tactical judgement and commercial awareness
- Excellent drafting skills and attention to detail
- Confident communication skills and a professional, client‑focused approach
- Ability to manage a busy caseload and prioritise effectively
- Strong organisation and IT skills
What’s On Offer
- Salary of £55,000 to £75,000 (dependent on experience)
