About Ogenus Offshore: Ogenus Offshore is an approved, trusted supplier to major global drilling contractors. We manage an elite global pool of 50–100 specialized subsea engineers, acting as an on‐demand technical force to systematically eliminate subsea Non‐Productive Time (NPT). Due to surging offshore asset utilization and recent multi‐well campaign wins across our client fleet, we are aggressively expanding our pool for upcoming Q3/Q4 campaigns, between well maintenance projects, and 5‐year shipyard recertifications and reactivations and contract upgrades.
The Opportunity: We are seeking highly skilled, independent Subsea Engineers specializing in well control equipment and multiplex control networks to join our global team.
Core Responsibilities:
- Well Control & BOP Systems: Oversee end‐to‐end engineering documentation, pressure testing, and troubleshooting for high‐spec deepwater BOP stacks.
- Maintenance Execution: Lead In‐Between Well (IBW) maintenance scopes and support 5‐year major inspection periods and reactivations and contract scopes.
- MUX Control Networks: Diagnose, program, and troubleshoot multiplex control pods, surface control systems, cyber‐chairs, and umbilical interfaces (NOV Cyber‐base or HMH/Cameron systems).
- Riser & Structural Oversight: Manage operational envelopes, space‐out, and weak‐point calculations for marine drilling risers in harsh or high‐current environments.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Minimum 5+ years of direct offshore experience as a Subsea Engineer / Senior Subsea Supervisor on high‐spec deepwater floating assets (Drillships / Semisubmersibles).
- Deep technical competency with major OEM equipment – specifically NOV (Cyber‐base/drilling controls) or HMH / Cameron well control equipment systems.
- Valid, region‐specific offshore survival and medical certifications (e.g., BOSIET/FOET, Medical and / Norwegian Continental Shelf compliance where applicable).
- Proven track record of managing asset integrity and mitigating subsea NPT under strict pressure.
