Full-time, 18-month fixed term contract with possibility to extend. 35 hours per week (open to job share applications, happy to talk flexible working). We have a flexible working policy with most staff expected to work from the office for a minimum of 50% of working hours.
Can you create impactful, viral content to help us win for working people? The TUC is looking for a dynamic Social Media Officer to join our industry-leading social media team. In this role, you'll create innovative, viral content that champions our progressive values and amplifies powerful campaigns for working people. Our social content regularly reaches millions, generates national media attention and engages politicians, influencers and key decision-makers.
What experience, skills, knowledge and understanding do you need?
- You’ll be a self-starter who can come up with ideas for viral content and able to turn them into posts ready for release.
- You’ll be aware of what’s going viral elsewhere and know how to adopt the latest trends.
- You’ll be open-minded, collaborative and passionate about promoting trade unions and winning campaigns for working people.
The closing date for completed applications for this post is Tuesday 22nd April 2025. There’ll be a one-stage interview in this process on Thursday 8th May 2025.
