We’re excited to offer this collaborative opportunity with West Yorkshire Combined Authority to ensure workers across West Yorkshire have a strong worker voice, fair pay, dignity at work with all their rights respected. Through working in partnership with unions to deliver full adoption of the Fair Works Charter (FWC), the post holder will provide a crucial function in delivering the Mayor’s ambition of creating high-quality employment across West Yorkshire. This will include:
- raising awareness of employment rights and the FWC
- providing outreach, training and resources, through collaboration with unions, to improve outcomes for workers and businesses
- working with local authorities and partner organisations to raise the profile and visibility of unions and the FWC to align with broader workforce development and inclusion goals

- data analysis and the ability to present complex information in relevant formats
