Water, MEICA and installation delivery

  • Site Manager or senior supervisor with SMSTS, ideally from water, wastewater, flood defence, pumping station, drainage, utilities, MEICA or heavy mechanical installation projects.
  • Capable of supervising installation teams, subcontractors and site safety across CDM-led works, including RAMS, permits, progress tracking, daily coordination and client-facing site communication.
  • Strong H&S grounding needed, ideally with CSCS, First Aid, Confined Spaces awareness, temporary works awareness, lifting/slinging awareness, PASMA/IPAF or NEBOSH/IOSH exposure.
  • Must be comfortable managing works around water, at height and in confined spaces, including specialist access methods such as pontoons or workboats where needed.
  • Best-fit geography is mobile UK-wide, with candidates based within reach of Nottinghamshire / South Yorkshire / Lincolnshire especially attractive because ACE’s HQ and operations base appear to be Retford/Rampton.

ACE’s own site says supervisors have SSSTS/SMSTS training, supported by in-house NEBOSH and IOSH managers, and that project managers deliver multi-million-pound projects to CDM regulations. That makes SMSTS site leadership a credible, specific requirement.
