We are currently seeking for our client an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join a major Waste-to-Energy project based in Port Clarence, Middlesbrough. This is an ongoing contract position offering full-time hours 45 per week, Monday to Friday.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise electrical teams on site, ensuring work is delivered safely and to a high standard
- Oversee daily site activities and coordinate labour and resources
- Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and site procedures
- Monitor progress against programme and report to project management
- Provide technical guidance and leadership to electrical operatives
- Ensure quality control and adherence to project specifications
Essential Requirements
- Time-served Electrician
- Strong background in heavy industry environments
- Experience working on power stations, gas sites, or large industrial projects
- Proven supervisory experience managing teams on site
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Strong knowledge of electrical safety standards and best practice
Desirable
- Previous experience on Waste-to-Energy or similar industrial energy projects
- SSSTS / SMSTS certification (advantageous but not essential)
