We are currently recruiting for our client for an experienced Instrumentation Supervisor to join a major Waste-to-Energy project based in Port Clarence, Middlesbrough. This is a contract role offering full-time hours 45 per week Monday to Friday.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate site activities for 2 x Pipe Fitters and a team of electricians.
- Manage daily workload, allocate tasks and monitor productivity.
- Ensure all works are carried out safely and in line with site procedures.
- Oversee installation, calibration and commissioning of instrumentation systems.
- Liaise with project management, engineers and other trades.
- Maintain high standards of quality and compliance.
- Carry out toolbox talks and safety briefings.
- Track progress against programme and report accordingly.
Essential Requirements
- Proven supervisory experience within instrumentation or industrial/Construction environments.
- Time-served Instrumentation Technician / Engineer or strong hands-on background.
- Experience working on heavy industrial projects.
- Background on power, gas or large industrial sites.
- Ability to manage mixed trade teams (pipe fitters & electricians).
- Strong understanding of health & safety regulations.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Desirable
- Triple STS / Supervisory CSCS Card.
- SSSTS / SMSTS certification.
- Previous experience on Waste-to-Energy or energy-from-waste projects.
