We are currently recruiting for a Recycling Operator on behalf of our client based in Blantyre. This is a temporary-to-permanent opportunity, initially for 12 weeks through the agency before transferring directly onto the client’s payroll for the successful candidate. This role has become available due to a long-serving operator retiring, making it an excellent opportunity to join a stable and supportive team with long-term prospects.
Working Hours
- 6:00am – 4:00pm
- 7:00am – 4:00pm
The Role
- Managing the co-mingled waste reception area
- Traffic marshalling vehicles entering and exiting site
- Supporting recycling operations across the facility
- Maintaining safe working practices at all times
- Providing additional cover during busy operational periods when required
Please note: this is a hands-on role within a recycling environment that includes food and garden waste, so applicants should be comfortable working in a physically demanding and sometimes unpleasant environment.
