Tradeline are actively seeking a Trainee Engineer/Technical Co-Ordinator to join our client's fast-paced and growing Engineering/Technical team.
On offer is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual to join a technical team as a Trainee Technical Co-ordinator/Engineer.
Your role will be to assist the team to complete their duties whilst training to fulfil the role of an Engineer/Technical Co-Ordinator.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Understanding and learning processes & procedures within the Technical and engineering department.
- Dealing with technical enquiries from QS/ Engineer/ Site.
- Reviewing and logging CCTV Surveys & test results.
- Reviewing drawing revisions.
- Registering drawing revisions and issuing to chase up to QS’s each Monday.
- Obtaining information from CAD drawings to assist engineers.
- Creating road models in CAD & ICON office.
- Volumetric analysis.
- Administering site start information including site checks and chasing information.
- Assist with departmental development.
- Various Company Reports/ administration.
- Personal on-going development.
- Other duties as reasonably required from time to time.
You must be eligible to work in the UK with no Visa Sponsorship requirements.
Person specifications:
- Good standard of GCSE’s and A Levels.
- A desire to develop your career within Engineering.
- Ideally a UK qualification within Engineering or a Technical construction discipline.
- Full clean driving license and access to a car (claim travel expenses) as travel in between sites will be required.
- Excellent computer skills, including Word and Excel.
- Effective written and oral communication skills.
- Analytical and practically minded.
- Highly organised.
- An interest in a long-term career within Construction.
