A rapidly growing specialist contractor, delivering facade remediation, cladding replacement and external wall system (EWS) projects across London and the South East, is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their expanding commercial team. The Role

Reporting directly to the Commercial Director, you will take commercial responsibility for multiple facade and cladding remediation projects, ensuring commercial performance is maximised while maintaining strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and project teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Full commercial management of facade, cladding and external wall system projects
  • Procurement and management of specialist subcontractors and suppliers
  • Preparation and submission of valuations, variations and final accounts
  • Cost reporting, forecasting and budget management
  • Contract administration under JCT forms of contract
  • Managing project cash flow and commercial risk
  • Supporting operational teams to deliver projects safely, profitably and on programme
  • Client liaison and attendance at commercial meetings
  • Ensuring commercial compliance throughout the project lifecycle

Requirements

  • Proven Quantity Surveying experience within facades, cladding, remediation, roofing, external envelopes or specialist subcontracting sectors
  • Strong understanding of external wall systems, rainscreen cladding, EWS remediation or facade packages
  • Experience managing projects from pre-construction through to final account
  • Excellent commercial awareness and negotiation skills
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Full UK driving licence preferred
