We are currently seeking an experienced Site Manager with a strong background in roofing and overcladding / metal sheeting projects for a 12‑week scheme based in Peacehaven, starting middle of March. This role will suit someone who has hands‑on experience managing roofing packages and understands the sequencing, safety requirements, and quality control involved with overcladding and metal sheeting works.
Key Responsibilities
- Overseeing day‑to‑day site operations
- Managing roofing and cladding subcontractors
- Ensuring works are delivered safely, on time and to a high standard
- Conducting site inductions and toolbox talks
- Maintaining programme and reporting progress
- Liaising with clients and senior management
Requirements
- Proven experience managing roofing / overcladding / metal sheeting projects
- SMSTS
- First Aid
- Black CSCS
- Strong H&S knowledge
- Ability to hit the ground running
- Temporary Works (preferred not essential)
This is a short‑term project with an immediate requirement, so availability for a middle of March start is essential. For the right candidate there will be further works if able to travel to the next project.
