About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee a CAT B commercial office fit out in the City of London. The project involves a multi-floor office fit out with an 8-week programme, requiring a strong, organised manager to drive delivery, quality, and health and safety on site.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day site operations across multiple floors
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site logistics
- Ensure works are delivered to programme within the 8-week schedule
- Maintain high standards of health and safety and site compliance
- Oversee quality control and ensure works meet CAT B fit out specifications
- Liaise with the project team, consultants, and client representatives
- Monitor progress, conduct site inspections, and resolve issues promptly
- Manage snagging and support final handover
Requirements
- Proven experience delivering commercial office fit outs, specifically CAT B projects
- Experience managing multi-floor environments
- Strong understanding of short-term, fast-track programmes
- Valid SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certifications
- Excellent coordination and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a live commercial environment
