We are currently looking for an experienced SWQR Supervisor (Blue Card Holder) to join our team in Leeds. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing street works operations, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, and maintaining high standards of health and safety on-site.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise street works and reinstatement teams on-site
- Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with SWQR/NRSWA regulations
- Monitor health & safety compliance and site standards
- Coordinate daily site activities and workforce allocation
- Liaise with clients, local authorities, and subcontractors where required
- Complete site reports, permits, and associated documentation
- Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings
- Ensure projects are completed efficiently and within deadlines
Requirements
- Valid SWQR Supervisor Blue Card / Combined White Card
- Previous supervisory experience within utilities, highways, or civil engineering
- Strong understanding of street works legislation and health & safety procedures
