We are working on behalf of a Fit-Out company who offer exemplary fit-out, joinery and bespoke works on projects for clients Nationally and Internationally, ranging in project sectors but primarily high end retail, hotels, leisure, commercial, hospitality and luxury living. Due to the continued growth within the company they seek an Estimator with joinery or fit-out project experience, to join its Commercial team, delivering exemplary Pre-Contract commercial functions across its wide ranging client base. As a business they understand the importance of work life balance and are happy to offer hybrid working and flexible working hours.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review project drawings, specifications, and tender documents to understand scope and requirements.
  • Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for labour, materials, equipment, and subcontractors.
  • Conduct site visits as necessary to assess conditions and gather information.
  • Obtain and evaluate bids from subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Prepare detailed take-offs, cost breakdowns, and pricing documents.
  • Identify potential risks, VE opportunities, and cost-saving options.
  • Assist in bid preparation, tender submissions, and client presentations.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, pricing, and construction methods.
  • Collaborate with project management and operations teams to ensure estimates align with project execution.

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of cost management, estimating, and contract administration within a Joinery, Fit-Out or Bespoke Interior project industry.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with industry-standard software such as Evaluate & Procore.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
