Appointed Person – North London – 8-Month Contract We are seeking an experienced Appointed Person to join a commercial construction project in North London on an 8-month contract. The role requires a highly competent individual with a proven track record of planning and overseeing complex lifting operations in busy, live environments. Key Responsibilities: * Plan and manage lifting operations in accordance with LOLER and relevant health and safety regulations * Prepare detailed lift plans, method statements, and risk assessments * Coordinate with crane supervisors, slinger/signallers, and plant operatives to ensure safe operations * Liaise with site management and subcontractors to minimise disruption and ensure lift schedules align with project timelines * Ensure all lifting equipment is correctly specified, certified, and maintained Requirements: * CPCS A61 (Appointed Person – Lifting Operations) or equivalent qualification * Strong understanding of lifting equipment, site logistics, and safety procedures * Experience in managing lifting operations on commercial construction projects * Ability to lead by example and communicate clearly with all site personnel This is a key role on a fast-paced commercial development.
