The Purpose of this role

To support the delivery of exceptional live operations performance across TradeKart’s delivery services; ensuring consistent on-time, high-quality fulfilment across our operating hours. This role works in close collaboration with the Head of Live Operations to manage real-time order flow, coordinate couriers, communicate with customers and relevant stakeholders, and resolve operational issues quickly and effectively. The Live Operations Manager will help maintain our OTIF% and customer satisfaction while enabling the Live Ops function to scale efficiently.

We’re looking for people with proven experience in rapid delivery operations – ideally from Uber, Deliveroo, Glovo, Getir or similar platforms – who know what it takes to run fast, high-performance live ops at scale.

Responsibilities

  • Act as deputy to Head of Live Operations - UK
  • Effectively manage operational resources ensuring delivery of business requirements and targets
  • Train, develop and coach existing and onboarding team members
  • Conduct performance related conversations that drive personal and professional development with the team
  • Monitor live orders to ensure delivery within promised timeframes
  • Manage SLA breaches and trigger rapid resolutions
  • Adjust courier resourcing in real time to match demand
  • Build relationships with and liaise with courier partners on live operational issues
  • Provide operational updates to merchants and partners
  • Log and flag delivery issues for cost reconciliations
  • Support tracking and reporting of live operations metrics
