TradeField Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced EICR Electrician to support Southwark Council’s social housing electrical testing programme. This is a long-term contract working across domestic social housing properties, carrying out electrical safety inspections and associated remedial works.

Role responsibilities include:

  • EICR testing and inspection across occupied social housing properties
  • Consumer unit and board changes where required
  • General electrical repairs and fault finding
  • Installation and testing of smoke alarms
  • Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) tasks

Parking permits will be provided for this contract.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 7 years’ experience as a qualified electrician
  • At least 1 year’s experience working within social housing environments
  • Valid Testing & Inspection qualification (2391 or equivalent)
  • Own calibrated testing equipment
  • Ability to commute within one hour of Southwark
