TradeField Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced EICR Electrician to support Southwark Council’s social housing electrical testing programme. This is a long-term contract working across domestic social housing properties, carrying out electrical safety inspections and associated remedial works.
Role responsibilities include:
- EICR testing and inspection across occupied social housing properties
- Consumer unit and board changes where required
- General electrical repairs and fault finding
- Installation and testing of smoke alarms
- Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) tasks
Parking permits will be provided for this contract.
Requirements:
- Minimum 7 years’ experience as a qualified electrician
- At least 1 year’s experience working within social housing environments
- Valid Testing & Inspection qualification (2391 or equivalent)
- Own calibrated testing equipment
- Ability to commute within one hour of Southwark
