Job Description
Do you hold a valid HGV Class 2 Licence and looking for a new challenge?
\nHere at TradeChoice Carpet and Flooring we are looking for an experienced Class 2 HGV Driver to support our busy warehouse helping to transport stock to our branches. You will be responsible for performing multi-drop deliveries safely, efficiently and on schedule.

\nKey responsibilities
\n- \n
- Oversee the loading and unloading of the HGV to ensure it is conducted correctly and safely. \n
- Conduct quality checks upon delivery and obtain customer signatures as proof of receipt. \n
- Maintain full compliance with tachograph legislation and relevant safety regulations. \n
- Keep the vehicle clean, well-maintained, and free from preventable damage. \n
- Report any accidents or incidents immediately, following company procedures. \n
- Complete and submit daily vehicle inspection sheets to the Operations Manager. \n
Key skills
\n- \n
- Valid commercial driving licence (C) \n
- Valid Driver CPC \n
- Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices for transporting goods. \n
- Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading cargo. \n
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team \n
