Main purpose of job: The primary function is to manage all the ‘day to day’ non-hazardous waste inputs to the Invergordon and Evanton sites, carry out ‘value add’ segregation where appropriate and prepare material for despatch.
The role:
- The job holder will be responsible for the receipt of waste, materials handling, sorting, preparing and despatch.
- Competency in the operation of all site equipment for material handling.
- Carry out daily checks on all equipment and organise maintenance/repairs via yard supervisor where required.
- Segregation of waste materials to add value to the business where appropriate.
- Follow and promote Tradebe’s SHEQ PROUD initiative at the site.
- As a direct interface to both customers and suppliers, the job holder must deliver exemplary levels of service and customer care in line with Tradebe’s corporate values.
- Maintain the highest standards of housekeeping at the Invergordon and Evanton sites.
- In conjunction with the HWS Operations Team’s plan in both deliveries and collections to maintain the efficient operation of the site to keep stock levels at a minimum.
- Ensure that all paperwork for materials leaving the site is fully completed to the standards required by Tradebe and supplier.
- Provide cover where required to either of the Invergordon and Evanton sites.
