Location: Evanton & Invergordon, Scotland
Working Hours: Monday-Thursday: 7-3:30pm and Friday 7-2:30
About the Role: Tradebe is looking for a reliable and motivated Operator to join our Industrial Scotland team. This role is primarily based at our Evanton site, with occasional cover required at Invergordon. You’ll play a key part in our day-to-day operations, working with heavy machinery and supporting efficient waste processing. While experience is beneficial, full training will be provided for the right candidate. This position will initially be supervised but will develop into a lone-working role, so confidence and initiative are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain site machinery, including: 13T excavator with grab attachment, Counterbalance forklift, Baler equipment
- Load and unload lorries safely and efficiently
- Carry out weighbridge operations
- Maintain high standards of site housekeeping
- Communicate effectively with customers and internal teams
- Work closely with the Site Supervisor
Do you have what it takes?
- Experience in waste, recycling, or similar industries (desirable, not essential)
- Strong machine operation skills (training provided)
- FLT license
- Valid driver’s licence
