We provide services to the entire industrial complex with high safety and quality standards.
We are looking for a Compliance Manager to join us at one of corporate headquarters in Warrington, with some occasional travel to other sites.
The role
Reporting to the Head of Sustainability & Corporate SHEQ, you will be responsible for implementation of Corporate SHEQ Policies and continually improve Corporate Governance control of operational H&S risks and compliance.
This will include
- Project Management of the evaluation, review, consultations, development, and implementation of Corporate SHEQ Policies required to establish Corporate Governance control of operational H&S risks and compliance. Ensuring efficient use of resources, cost control and effective delivery to completion.
- Establishing a programme to ensure our commitment to comply with relevant legislation is achieved.
- Establish an audit programme to monitor the effectiveness of H&S policies including implementation of relevant processes and procedures.
- Provide support to the Corporate & Operational SHEQ departments.
The person
To be successful in this role you will need to be able to manage the following:
Policy Management
Project Management of the evaluation, review, consultations, development, and implementation of Corporate SHEQ Policies required to establish Corporate Governance control of operational H&S risks and compliance. Ensuring efficient use of resources, cost control and effective delivery to completion.
Applicable Legislation
Establish a programme to ensure our commitment to comply with relevant legislation is achieved.
- Review legislation updates.
- Maintain the legal register and record assessments of applicable legislation.
- Report the outputs of assessment, identify impacts on the business, and propose opportunities for improvement.
Compliance Audits
Establish an audit programme to monitor the effectiveness of H&S policies including implementation of relevant processes and procedures.
Functional Support
Provide support to the Corporate & Operational SHEQ departments.
- Assume responsibilities as defined in Policies and relevant processes and procedures.
- Ad-hoc requests when required.
- Assume Site SHEQ compliance responsibilities for office locations where there are no operational activities.
- Lead in the implementation of our internal PROUD programme.
