What will you do? Make an impact!
The Industrial Services Operative is responsible for the efficient delivery of activities supporting the goals of the project team, ensuring compliance with operating procedures, risk assessments and method statements, as directed by site supervisors. The safety of all site personnel and members of the public as the number one priority
The post holder will be expected to support at any Transfers Division location, as directed in the absence of Industrial Services projects.
Responsibilities
- Organisation and timely completion of allocated duties.
- Ensure all work areas are safe, secure, clean, and tidy by the end of each working day, including any company transport used.
- Assist in operational duties as required by Management in line with all applicable works procedures and guidelines available.
- Reporting of Environmental/H&S/Operational issues arising ASAP.
- Support of maintenance/operational/H&S issues arising on site, including remedial actions and reporting.
- Assist with the loading and unloading of vehicles when required.
- Provide cover for others during scheduled absence.
- Ensure an up-to-date knowledge of relevant works procedures and ensure that these are always followed.
- Ensure all communications are professional and consistent.
- To deliver projects both in the UK and abroad
- Any other reasonable task requested by Line or Senior Management
