As SHEQ Manager for Tradebe Heysham, you will lead all health, safety, environmental and quality activity, ensuring the site operates safely, compliantly and efficiently. You will be a key member of the senior leadership team, embedding best practice and driving continuous improvement across operations.
What you’ll be doing:
- Lead SHEQ performance and management systems across the site, ensuring safe, compliant operations
- Sound understanding of HSE and Environmental legislation, guidance and standards
- Own process and personal safety, including risk assessment, ALARP and incident management
- Partner closely with engineering, maintenance and laboratory teams to support operational excellence
- Maintain compliance with COMAH Safety Reports, permits, emergency arrangements and legislation
- Drive continuous improvement, modernisation and new waste stream initiatives
- Lead the site's sustainability and net zero agenda, including emissions trading, energy and carbon reduction programmes
