What will you do? Make an impact! The role holder will perform the day-to-day maintenance tasks associated with the operation of the site, whilst maintaining the highest level of compliance to the company's health and safety, environmental, procedural and statutory goals.
Principal Duties- Responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic plant and equipment on Heysham site (as far as skills allow).
- Ensure that all equipment/plant worked on is maintained to a safe condition, compliant with any specific regulations and/or restrictions.
- To ensure that engineering skills are available to production areas for supporting 'non-skilled' personnel in engineering matters where appropriate.
- To assist as required in mechanical or other engineering tasks as the workload demands.
- Ensure all health, safety, and environmental regulations and conditions are adhered to.
- Completion of necessary work permits and associated systems to allow safe operations.
