This role is primarily focused on goods-in operations, forklift truck operation, hazardous material handling, and site safety compliance . Working outside, in all weathers, using Forklift trucks to load/off-load 205ltr drums, pallets and IBCs to/from trailers. Opening and checking drums, pallets and IBC contents are as described on transport documentation and take samples for on-site analysis in liaison with the Goods Inwards Chemists. Processing materials through use of FLT and site skips. Investigating non-conformances and alerting relevant site personnel. Segregating inputs by hazard category and moving by fork lift truck to correct storage. Assisting the Goods Inwards, Technical teams, and site operations teams with any reasonable requests. Liaising regularly with site personnel to update on vehicle status. Provide information to other departments to ensure the smooth running of the Goods Inward systems.
