The Operations Manager will be responsible for the safety and protection of the workforce and the public from nuclear materials held on site.
Essential to meeting these targets will be the requirement to develop and deliver customer service and market driven innovation whilst fostering a culture within the business of empowerment and accountability, with a focus on sector leading operational performance.
The ideal candidate will bring quantifiable operational management experience and demonstrable ability in people and process management.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible to the Site Manager for efficiently scheduling the processing of wastes by the operations team to the required standard for disposal.
- Establish work schedules, assign tasks.
- Set and track staff training, ensuring that all staff maintain SQEP.
- Mentor and coach as needed.
- Recruit and Onboard new team members.
- Support the Site Manager to deliver Operational projects.
- Drive continuous improvement and innovation.
- Support the undertaking of peer reviews, site assessments, and technical competence evaluations.

Qualifications
- HNC/ HND in Engineering/Process management.
- NVQ Lvl 4+ Operational management
- H&S Managing IOSH/ Nebosch Gā¦
