Main Purpose: Collect clinical waste from customer sites (e.g., acute hospitals and transfer stations) safely and professionally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect and transport clinical waste in line with company procedures and ADR/road laws.
- Load and unload waste containers safely.
- Complete all required paperwork and PDA records for each collection.
- Carry out vehicle checks, report defects, and keep vehicles clean, tidy, and refuelled.
- Report incidents, near misses, delays, or issues to the line manager/site.
- Follow all site rules and company policies, including correct PPE use.
- Maintain a professional appearance and behaviour on customer sites.
- Attend team briefings and work collaboratively with team members.
- Ensure loads are secure, not overloaded, and waste is properly segregated.
