What will you do? Make an impact!

Collect clinical waste from sites like dentists and doctors\’ surgeries in a safe, professional, and compliant manner.

Key Responsibilities:

* Drive safely, following road laws and ADR regulations
* Use PDA to log collections accurately
* Complete all paperwork and hand it in at the end of your shift
* Conduct vehicle checks and report any defects or near misses
* Keep your vehicle clean, tidy, and refuelled
* Wear the correct PPE and uniform at all times
* Communicate any issues or delays promptly
* Work well with the team and attend briefings when required
* Follow all site rules and waste segregation procedures

Do you have what it takes?

* Excellent communication skills
* Experience of driving a 3.5tn or larger vehicle

Desirable Skills:

* ADR qualified
* Experience in handling Waste (Clinical & Hazardous desirable)
* Use of hand held devises i.e. PDA

Knowledge:

* Good knowledge Road Traffic Laws
* Knowledge of the UK road network
* Knowledge of NHS contracts (desirable )
* Good knowledge of the waste industry (Clinical & Hazardous waste desirable).
