Working hours - 6-6pm
We are looking for an organised and proactive Transport Supervisor to provide logistics and administrative support to the Transport/Site Manager and ensure the smooth, compliant operation of our transport fleet.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain accurate and compliant transport documentation and records
- Schedule, print and manage daily driver routes
- Manage driver rotas, holidays and daily de-briefs
- Communicate with drivers and customers via phone and email
- Handle delivery and collection enquiries
- Compile weekly and monthly KPI and performance reports
- Support transport compliance, including incident/near miss reporting
- Complete vehicle checks and assist with transport audits
- Raise purchase orders and track monthly transport expenditure
- Assist with month-end reporting and general plant administration
- Check and reconcile Hazardous Waste Consignment Notes (HWCNs) for billing
- Experience of transport office working environment
- Strong administrative and organisational skills
- Confident communicator with drivers, customers and internal teams
- Good IT skills, including spreadsheets and reporting
- Ability to work in a fast-paced transport environment
- Attention to detail and a strong focus on compliance
