What will you do? Make an impact! Reporting directly to the Maintenance Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day organisation and supervision of site Electrical Technicians as well as contractual staff, to achieve an efficient maintenance function, while adhering to all relevant legislation as applicable to a top tier COMAH site. As required, the Electrical Supervisor will deputise for the Maintenance Manager during holidays or other absences as required.
The successful candidate will be accountable for the provision of all electrical support to the Ops & Engineering teams, ensuring work is completed in accordance with documented work requirements, legislation and the company's policies and objectives, maintaining and improving performance in the areas of Safety, Quality and Environment and that appropriate repair and maintenance requirements are identified and undertaken as necessary to maintain plant availability and improve efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Assessment of plant defects, specifying remedial action, and proposal of modifications where appropriate, to maintain plant reliability and availability.
- Assist in planning and supervision of planned maintenance outages including the annual shutdown.
- Attend maintenance based HSE site intervention meetings as required.
- Carry out hazard and risk assessments for routine and defect maintenance tasks as required.
- Ensure compliance with the company's Quality and Environmental Management System and Health and Safety.
- Ensure that all reportees maintain a good standard of housekeeping.
- Advise management of safety issues.
- Carry out any other duties as requested by Site Management.
- To provide electrical support to Operations and Engineering teams.
- To carry out planned preventative maintenance in accordance with PPM schedule.
- To perform all duties in accordance with documented work requirements, legislation and the company's policies and objectives, maintaining and improving performance in the areas of Safety, Quality and Environment.
- To be responsible for ensuring that appropriate repair and maintenance requirements are identified and undertaken as necessary to maintain plant availability and improve efficiency.
- Provide hands-on support to maximise plant operations.
- Recommend modifications or maintenance procedures that enhance the plant's performance.
- Ensure documentation associated with all work carried out by both the individual and subordinates is collated and submitted to the relevant parties.

Essential Qualifications/Experience
- 18 Edition IEE wiring regulations.
- Inspection, Testing and certification of electrical installations (C&G 2394 & 2395) or (C&G 2391).
- COMPEX 01 to 04.
- Good knowledge of Health and Safety Legislation.
- Good knowledge of process controls including PLC's and Invertor drives.
Desirable
- Experience with working in a Hazardous Area Environment.
- Waste management experience.
- Continuous processing Plant experience.
- FLT Driver.
