What will you do? Make an impact!
Lead tanker offloading operations at the GWMC Treatment Plant, ensuring top-tier safety, environmental, and compliance standards. As a Shift Offloading Chemist, you\’ll work hands-on with a small, skilled team to keep operations running smoothly and efficiently, delivering exceptional service to our customers while optimising plant performance
What you\’ll be doing:
* Lead critical operations – take charge of tanker offloading, waste processing, and treatment plant activities, ensuring every job meets permit and compliance standards.
* Inspire and guide the team – direct plant operatives, coordinate drivers, keep traffic moving safely, and step in for the Shift Manager when needed.
* Champion safety and compliance – uphold exceptional health, safety, environmental, and housekeeping standards while keeping accurate, compliant records.
* Drive efficiency – minimise delays, boost productivity, resolve maintenance issues, and help optimise plant performance.
* Work collaboratively – partner with chemists, operators, and other teams to deliver analysis, improve processes, and develop site capabilities.

* Qualified – minimum HNC in Chemistry or a related science discipline.
