What will you do? Make an impact!
You\’ll play a key role in keeping our plant running at its best – identifying and carrying out repairs and maintenance to maximise availability. Every task will be performed to documented standards, in line with legislation, company policies, and our commitment to safety, quality, and the environment.
What you\’ll be doing:
* Advise management of safety issues.
* Carry out risk assessment and method statement for routine and defect maintenance tasks as required.
* Maintain a good standard of housekeeping.
* Responsible for determining and executing repair and preventative maintenance to mechanical machinery.
* Carry out planned maintenance
* Help other maintenance colleagues in routine tasks or major overhauls
* Provide mechanical maintenance support to maximise plant operations.
* Provide assistance and support to the Engineering Department as directed by the Maintenance Manager.
* Recommend modifications or maintenance procedures that enhance the department\’s performance.
* Assist in the detailed planning of and preparation for plant maintenance shut down periods.
Do you have what it takes?
You\’ll bring strong mechanical maintenance and installation experience, with proven skills refurbishing pumps (centrifugal, piston, mono), conveyors, elevators, shredders, hydraulics, filter presses, bearings, gearboxes, and fans.
* Completed a recognised technician apprenticeship
* Confident with numbers, clear communicator, and comfortable using computerised systems
* Holds a valid driving licence and FLT certification
* A real team player with a flexible, can-do approach
* Takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship
Desirable Skills
* Strong understanding of Health & Safety legislation
* Familiarity with DCS, ESD, and PLC-based control systems
