What will you do? Make an impact!
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure that all PPM activities are carried out and recorded in line with company procedures that are currently in place.
- Keep and maintain all maintenance records for the site ensuring that all relevant documentation is completed and filed with attention to detail.
- Take a positive approach to issues that may occur on the plant and detail this to the Maintenance Manager, so that plans can be made in advance of a planned shut-down to remedy the problem.
- Have a proactive approach in identifying problems that may occur and propose solutions to rectify these issues before they affect the running of the process and site.
- Identify defects on all aspects of the plant and site and report on a daily basis to the Maintenance Manager.
- Inform the Shift Manager of any breach of health and safety around the plant and make safe again if possible.
- Ensure that all maintenance spares are replenished before stock runs out; this can be done by informing the Maintenance Admin that these items need re-ordering.
- Ensure that all areas of the plant are kept in a safe manner whilst working and that the area is left in a safe state and tidy afterwards.
- Liaise at all times with the Maintenance Manager regarding maintenance issues.

- Tidy and methodical approach to problems
- Recognised Mechanical apprenticeship or similar
- Work and knowledge of different types of pumps

- Waste management experience
- Continuous processing Plant experience
- FLT Driver
