About this Role
The NASUWT is the leading trade union representing teachers and school leaders throughout the UK.
We are seeking a Member Support Advisor to join the Member Support Services Team.
The role provides advice, information and guidance to teachers on a wide range of employment and membership matters, through a busy telephone advice line and via email.
You will work flexibly on a rota, covering hours between 8:00 am – 6:30 pm as required by the service.
Responsibilities include
- Provide telephone and email support to members.
- Respond to enquiries regarding employment law, terms and conditions, and membership.
- Maintain accurate records of member interactions.
- Collaborate with team members to improve service quality.
Qualifications and experience
- Knowledge of employment law or teachers’ terms and conditions.
- Commitment to the values and ethos of trade unions.
- Outstanding member care skills.
- Experience in providing telephone advice and guidance within a legal or employment context.
