What you'll be doing:
- Partner with product teams in preparing and assessing new product initiatives, ensuring compliance issues are identified and addressed during the product design process.
- Advise on relevant regulatory requirements, including MiFID II/MiFIR, MAR/MAD, MiCAR, PSD II, SRD II, EMIR and AML ensuring compliance considerations are embedded early on.
- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders on all arising questions regarding product compliance.
- Provide advice on marketing standards, new campaigns and general marketing approaches for both new and existing products.
- Work closely with other departments, in particular Risk, Legal, Finance and People to deliver aligned and consistent input to the product teams.
What we're looking for:
- Successfully completed studies in economics, law or business law or comparable studies.
- Ideally, several years of professional experience in the area of investment compliance in auditing or consulting firms, with in‐depth knowledge of the relevant regulatory and legal requirements, and/or several years of professional experience in the banking or financial services industry.
- Knowledge of MiFID II/MiFIR, WpHG, MaComp, MaRisk, MaDepot, MiCAR etc. as well as other prominent EU regulatory frameworks.
- English is essential; German is highly preferred. Other European languages are beneficial, with Spanish considered a plus.
