Trade Recruitment are currently recruiting skilled Solar Installers to join our team.

Start date: Immediate start available for the right person

Working hours: 7:30am - 4pm with 30 minutes lunch break, 8 hours paid per day as standard. Overtime and weekend work is available at an overtime rate.

Location: Will be covering Surrey, London and South East.

Details: The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation of solar energy systems, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards of safety and quality. This role requires strong mechanical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. Applicants will need to have a valid CSCS/ECS card and full PPE. A company vehicle and fuel card will be provided.

Responsibilities:

  • Install solar panels and associated equipment on residential and commercial properties.
  • Conduct site assessments to determine optimal placement of solar systems.
  • Use power tools and hand tools safely and effectively during installations.
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on installed systems.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion.
  • Follow all safety protocols and regulations while on-site.
  • Maintain a clean and organised work environment throughout the installation process.

Experience:

  • Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in using power tools and hand tools.
  • Familiarity with electrical systems is highly desirable.
  • Working at height.
  • Perform other physical tasks as required for installations.
  • Previous experience in solar installation.
