We’re looking for a proactive and organised Operations & Commercial Administrator to join the team at one of the UK's leading Access companies based in Gravesend.
This is a varied role that supports the day-to-day running of the business, working closely with both the Operations Manager and Commercial team.

Key Responsibilities
- Supporting the operations team with equipment records, certifications and compliance documentation.
- Managing shared inboxes and coordinating administrative tasks.
- Maintaining staff training records and arranging refresher courses.
- Administering the company vehicle fleet, including MOTs, road tax and licence checks.
- Collecting and checking site timesheets for payroll preparation.
- Raising purchase orders and supporting procurement activities.
- Assisting with subcontractor records and commercial administration.
- Maintaining accurate digital filing systems and document control.
- Matching supplier invoices and delivery notes.
- Supporting new starters with onboarding administration.
- Ordering office supplies and helping ensure the office runs efficiently.
We’re looking for someone who has
- Previous administration experience, ideally within construction, engineering or a similar industry.
- Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail.
- Confidence using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook).
- The ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workloads.
- A positive attitude with a willingness to learn.
- Excellent communication skills and a professional telephone manner.
Desirable (but not essential)
- Experience with payroll administration.
- Knowledge of document control processes.
- Understanding of LOLER Regulations or the lifting industry.
