We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Showroom Sales Consultant to join the team. You will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer experiences while supporting the growth of the business through effective sales and service. This is a front-facing, consultative role that involves guiding customers through their buying journey from initial enquiry and showroom visit through to purchase and aftercare. It requires strong interpersonal skills, product knowledge, and a passion for interiors or home improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and engage with customers in a professional, friendly manner
- Present and demonstrate bathroom, heating, and associated product options
- Produce accurate quotations and guide customers through the purchasing process
- Follow up on leads and manage ongoing customer relationships
- Ensure the showroom is always presented to a high standard
- Process orders accurately and liaise with the installation team where required
- Meet and exceed sales targets and performance objectives
- Working alongside our main bathroom and kitchen surveyor out on the road
Key Skills:
- Customer Service Excellence: A proven ability to build rapport and trust with a wide range of customers
- Sales Experience: 1–3 years in a showroom, retail, or customer-facing sales environment
- Strong Communication: Clear, confident, and professional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Attention to Detail: Ability to prepare accurate quotes and ensure product specifications meet customer needs
- Organisation & Time Management: Comfortable managing multiple enquiries and sales activities simultaneously
- Technical Understanding: An interest or background in bathroom, heating, or home improvement products is advantageous
- Team Player: Willingness to support colleagues, contribute to a positive team environment, and share knowledge
- IT Literacy: Confident using email, CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and quoting software
