Job Overview
We are looking for a creative, ambitious, and results-driven Social Media Manager to take ownership of Joseph Valente's online presence. You'll be responsible for developing and executing social media strategies, creating engaging content, building online communities, and driving audience growth across multiple platforms. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to play a key role in growing a high-profile personal brand.
The Role
As Social Media Manager, you will develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with Joseph Valente's brand, business objectives, and target audience. You will oversee and manage social media accounts across Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, and X (formerly Twitter), ensuring content remains fresh, engaging, and relevant.
You'll regularly research industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging platform features to identify opportunities for growth. You will also plan and deliver social media campaigns promoting events, products, partnerships, and collaborations.
Content creation will be a major part of the role. Working closely with Joseph, you'll capture authentic moments that resonate with audiences and transform them into engaging social media content. This includes creating high-quality posts, stories, reels, videos, and other digital content, while editing and optimising videos for platforms such as YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram Reels. You'll also write compelling captions and copy that reflect Joseph's unique voice, personality, and values.
Community engagement is equally important. You'll actively interact with followers by responding to comments, messages, and mentions, helping to build a positive and engaged online community. You will identify opportunities to collaborate with influencers, brands, and other creators to strengthen Joseph's network and expand his audience reach.
Using analytics and social media reporting tools, you'll monitor key performance metrics including reach, engagement, impressions, and follower growth. You will provide regular performance reports with actionable insights, using audience data to refine strategies and improve future content performance.
As a guardian of Joseph Valente's personal brand, you'll ensure consistency across all content and communications while maintaining a regular posting schedule. Staying informed on platform updates, industry trends, and emerging digital opportunities will be essential to keeping the brand at the forefront of social media innovation.
About You
You will have proven experience in a Social Media Manager role and a strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, audience behaviour, and best practices. You should possess excellent content creation skills, including copywriting, graphic design, and video editing, along with a creative mindset and the ability to generate innovative content ideas.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills are essential, as you'll be working closely with a high-profile entrepreneur. You should be highly organised, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously, and comfortable working in a fast-moving environment with competing deadlines.
Experience using platforms and tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Hootsuite, or Buffer would be advantageous. Knowledge of SEO, digital marketing principles, personal branding, or entrepreneurship is also desirable. Familiarity with Joseph Valente's brand and content style would be a strong advantage.
