This is a fully office-based role at our Peterborough headquarters. We are seeking someone who is energetic, data-driven, creative, and deeply experienced in running high-performing paid ad campaigns.
About the Role
The Paid Ads Specialist will be responsible for planning, launching, and optimising paid advertising campaigns across Meta, TikTok, Google, and other relevant performance channels. The goal of this role is to drive high-quality registrations, maximise lead volume, and deliver strong conversion results.
You will manage high-volume campaigns, test creative variations, refine audience targeting, and ensure cost-effective acquisition. Working closely with the Acquisition Lead, Martech team, Conversion Lead, and Brand team, you will play a key part in Trade Mastermind's wider marketing and growth strategy.
This is a hands-on execution role suited for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has proven experience in PCC and Paid Ads.
Key Responsibilities
- You will be responsible for executing and scaling paid campaigns across Meta, Google, TikTok, and programmatic platforms. This includes managing day-to-day optimisation, bidding strategies, pacing, budgeting, and campaign delivery.
- A core part of your role will involve running structured creative tests to identify top-performing concepts, messaging angles, hooks, and formats. Working closely with the Acquisition Lead, you will develop hypotheses, test creative variations, and refine your approach based on results in each region.
- You will design and refine audience targeting strategies using interest, behaviour, lookalike, and retargeting segments. Your work will include creating and maintaining audience groups for beginners, traders, educators, and high intent users, ensuring each segment receives the most relevant message at the right time.
- Monitoring funnel quality is essential. You will analyse traffic performance across channels, assess lead quality, and adjust targeting, creative, or platforms to improve conversion. You will be responsible for tracking core KPIs including CPR, CPV, CPFTD, ROI, and all metrics connected to cost‑effective lead acquisition.
- Accurate tracking and reporting are essential. You will work closely with the Martech team to ensure correct pixel implementations, event tracking, and UTM structures. You will also prepare daily and weekly performance reports, offering insight into channel performance, creative outcomes, audience behaviour, and regional results.
Requirements
We are looking for someone with proven experience managing high‑performance Facebook/Meta campaigns with strong lead generation results. You should have expert knowledge of Ads Manager, audience building, and media buying optimisation techniques.
The role requires strong analytical skills and the ability to make data‑driven decisions. You should be comfortable managing multiple campaigns simultaneously, have exceptional attention to detail, and demonstrate an understanding of full‑funnel lead generation.
Confidence using tracking tools such as Meta Pixel, Google Tag Manager, and conversion events is essential. A degree in Marketing or Advertising is preferred, and additional certifications in paid media would be beneficial.
