Our client is looking for full-time experienced trade plate drivers on a contracted self-employed basis. Immediate starts available for the right candidate. Please note: our client is only looking for experienced trade plate drivers. If you have not performed professional vehicle movements deliveries, you will not be considered.
As a trade plate driver you will collect and deliver new and used vehicles all over mainland UK in a timely and professional manner.
Responsibilities- Accurately appraise a vehicle before collection, noting any existing damage using the client’s app.
- Deliver vehicles on schedule throughout the day.
- Smart appearance, disciplined, organised and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 active penalty points.
- No disqualifications in the past 4 years and no active penalty codes DD, DG, DR, IN, MS or TT.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
- Off-road parking at home address (driveway or official off-road parking area). A road parking area is not sufficient.
- Good customer care and courtesy when dealing with clients and customers.
- Knowledge of mobile apps is a distinctive advantage; ability to access email.
- Training on company movement apps and procedures will be provided.
- Drivers aged 30 + are required.
- Monday to Friday, early starts and sometimes late finishes.
- Start time each day is determined by the vehicle carried over from the previous day and the next delivery requirement.
- Expect to travel far across mainland UK.
- Weekly pay range £400 – £700, paid 4 days after the completed working week.
- Insured trade plates and fuel card provided.
- Full planning and office support each working day, plus out-of-hours emergency contact assistance.
