Our client is looking for full-time experienced trade plate drivers on a contracted self-employed basis. Immediate starts are available for the right candidate.
Responsibilities:
- Collect and deliver new and used vehicles across mainland UK in a timely and professional manner.
- Accurately appraise vehicles upon collection, noting any existing damage using the client’s app.
- Drive Monday to Friday, often with early starts and sometimes late finishes, depending on carry-over vehicles and delivery deadlines.
- Use mobile apps and email effectively; receive full training on the company movement apps and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Experienced trade plate driver only. If you have not performed professional vehicle movements deliveries, you will not be considered.
- Full UK driving licence, no more than 6 active penalty points, no disqualifications in the past 4 years, and none of the following active penalty codes: DD, DG, DR, IN, MS, TT.
- Ability to work in the UK.
- Smart appearance, disciplined, organised, excellent interpersonal skills, courteous and professional customer care.
- Access to a driveway or official off-road parking for carry-over vehicles.
- Knowledge of mobile apps is a distinct advantage.
- Age 30 or older.
