Our client is looking for full time experienced trade plate drivers, on a contracted self‑employed basis. Immediate starts available for the right candidate.
Responsibilities
- Collect and deliver new and used vehicles all over the UK in a timely and professional manner.
- Use public transport between vehicle collections, with full reimbursement.
- Use a tablet app to appraise each vehicle at the collection site, noting any existing damage.
- Obtain sign‑off from the customer before delivering the vehicle to its final destination.
- Maintain a smart appearance and demonstrate discipline, reliability, and excellent interpersonal skills when dealing with customers and office support staff.
- Communicate effectively with customers and the office team to report, resolve queries, problems, or delays promptly.
- Be an early riser and deliver vehicles by 9 am or earlier when required, often starting before 6 am with potential late finishes if delays occur.
Qualifications
- Hold a full UK licence for over 3 years, with no more than 6 active penalty points, excluding codes DD, DG, IN, MS, or TT.
- Have not been disqualified from driving in the past 5 years.
- Be eligible to work in the UK.
- Have an official off‑road parking area at home large enough to accommodate a large van, as carry‑over vehicles may be transported home.
- Be tech‑savvy and experienced with mobile apps to complete daily workload accurately and efficiently.
