This role will strengthen the Front-End Development team in London and play an important role in Trade Nation's Greenfield web development initiatives. You'll be responsible for building new customer-facing experiences, working closely with Product to clarify and challenge requirements, developing high-quality React solutions, and collaborating with our QA Engineers to ensure everything you deliver is robust and production-ready.

Responsibilities
- Writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code based on project requirements
- Designing, developing, and implementing new software features
- Collaborating with team members to identify and fix bugs in existing code
- Creating tests to ensure code quality and functionality
- Debugging and troubleshooting issues in development and production environments
- Conducting code reviews and providing constructive feedback to peers
- Maintaining up-to-date technical documentation for software components
- Documenting code changes, enhancements, and newly developed features
- Working closely with senior engineers, project managers, and designers to understand project requirements
- Attending team meetings and contributing to project planning and execution, with a commitment to delivering feature development in two-week sprints
- Engaging in continuous learning and professional development to improve skills and expertise
- Accurately tracking work status and communicating blockers and progress to the team
- Controlling the release of code into production environments
- Thoroughly testing and validating releases to prevent disruptions in production
Requirements
- Experience working with commercial and/or financial systems
- Exposure to APIs, authentication, and secure data handling
- Strong hands‑on experience delivering projects in a commercial environment
- Solid understanding of Agile ways of working
- Proficiency with modern React, including hooks and context
- Experience with RESTful APIs, CI pipelines, and Git-based workflows
- Experience developing for Payload or another Enterprise CMS
